Registration fees vary by program and season. For the 2026 Summer Recreational Soccer season, registration was $60 for the first child and $50 for each additional child. Current fees are provided when registration opens through 360Player.
Absolutely! CYSC welcomes players of all experience levels, including beginners. Our programs emphasize learning fundamental soccer skills, building confidence, developing teamwork, and enjoying the game in a positive environment.
Yes. Families may request a particular coach or teammate during registration. CYSC will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests; however, placement cannot be guaranteed. Team assignments must also consider balanced rosters and appropriate age divisions.

Summer Recreational Soccer games are held at West Carthage Elementary School and the Cole Road soccer fields. Indoor soccer games are held at the Watertown Fairgrounds YMCA. Families should refer to their team communications for specific schedules and locations.
Players are assigned to age divisions based on their birth year, following applicable US Youth Soccer age-group guidelines. CYSC then works to balance teams according to age, skill level, and experience to promote fair competition, player development, and sportsmanship.
For Summer Recreational Soccer, players should wear shin guards, socks, and appropriate athletic footwear. Soccer cleats are strongly recommended but are not required; athletic shoes are permitted. For indoor soccer, cleats are not allowed. Players may wear athletic shoes or turf shoes, along with shin guards and socks. Players are strongly encouraged to bring a water bottle to every practice and game.
For Summer Recreational Soccer, player shirts are included with registration. Indoor soccer requires a separate jersey purchase through CYSC's jersey order forms. Ordering information and deadlines are communicated before each indoor session.
